S&B Construction Services Ltd was founded in 2000 by co-partners Barry Scott and Dale Barcock at the end of a major building project in Cumbria in which both were involved.
Over the past 10 years the company has gone from strength to strength and has gained a reputation as a one of the North West’s premier commercial and domestic building contractors.
Due to their excellent reputation and quality of workmanship they came to the attention of DSD construction in early 2010 and were quickly amalgamated into the DSD Group.
With over 50 years’ experience in the building industry we pride ourselves on the quality and the scope of our works we are able to offer. Everything from large commercial projects to small domestic works, we are able to offer competitively priced works all over the United Kingdom.
S&B Construction scooped the top prize for the best domestic extension or conversion in the LABC (Local Authority Building Control) North Regional Building Excellence Awards for 2009. The award, which was won in competition with building firms from the whole of the North of England, recognised the quality of the superb 500 square metre extension to Stockmoor Hall at Broughton Moor, Cumbria. It followed the award from Allerdale Borough Council of their 2009 best in Quality award (for the same project).
