DSD Construction Ltd, founded in 1993, is a limited company with its head office based in Carlisle, Cumbria.

We specialise in all aspects of road works and civil engineering, utilising our in house management team with over 50 years experience, along with a team of fully qualified skilled trade operatives.

To recognise and administer the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction, the company operates to an accredited QA system & are certified to operate to ISO9001 standard.

We are experienced & approved installers of Clause 942 Thin Surface Courses and are certificated to lay Cemex’s Viatex and Hanson’s Tuffpave systems. We have also gained National Highways Sector Scheme 16 approval for the laying of asphalt mixes.

We recognise the importance for the continuous training & development of our workforce and staff. This led us to being one of the first civil engineering companies in Cumbria to attain the Investors in People award.

The company currently works with the Local Authorities, Regional Councils and most Main Contractors throughout the United Kingdom on a variety of contracts valued  from £5,000  up to and over £1,000,000.
